Locality: The SOREA Skalnička hotel is situated in congenial alpine surroundings / of Horný Smokovec village, one of the recently established High Tatra settlements, which is an important starting point into the central part of the High Tatra mountains.

Accommodation: SOREA Skalnička hotel provides accommodation in comfortable, cosily furnished apartments, single and double bed rooms with fold-away cot, equipped with toilets, showers, telephone and TV set with SAT programs. Some rooms are also equipped with fridges. The hotel also enables accommodation for our guests´ pets.

Supplementary Services: At their leisure, the hotel guests may use comfortably furnished hotel fitness and sauna. As standard, the hotel provides information services, the sale of postcards, stamps and other goods, lending of hair driers and steam irons. Description of vicinity: The hotel provides elective guided excursions in co-operation with Hrebienok and Morava hotels. If you are interested in these excursions, it is sufficient to book this service in advance at the hotel reception. Several attractive places are located in the close vicinity of the hotel. The most known and favoured trips are to Levoča town, Pieniny mountain, the towns Nowý Targ and Zakopané. The hotel is located near the Tatry electric railway station (Tatranskej elektrickej železnice), which provides excellent transportation connection with all tourist and ski centres in the High Tatra mountains (Tatranská Lomnica, Starý Smokovec). The surroundings provide excellent possibilities for enjoying easy walks on the footpath over the Road of Freedom in the direction to Starý Smokovec, Dolný Smokovec and Tatranská Lomnica. In summer, the hotel is an excellent point of departure to Sliezsky House, Slavkovský peak, Zbojnícku cottage, Skalnaté tarn, excursions to Poprad, Kežmarok, Belianska cave or the thermal resort in Vrbov. The surroundings also offer suitable routes for bicyclists. In winter, skiers have at their disposal a ski tow in Horný Smokovec near the Bellevue hotel, ski tows in Jakubková Meadow centre, suitable both for beginners and children, and Hrebienok ski centre, accessible by means of rail cableway from Starý Smokovec, with ski terrains of various difficulty. Several ski schools, ski services and skiing supplies rental offices offer their services in the neighbourhood. Lovers of winter sports will be pleased with the toboggan and bob-sleigh runs from Hrebienok to Starý Smokovec, and excellent terrains for track skiing near the hotel.
