Description of vicinity: The pension is situated 1 km by the highway Prague - Poděbrady in the small still village Chrást, neighbouring the Kersko forest in the lowlands Polabí. Self-service market is in the village. There are several restaurants in the area app. 10 km.
Suggestions for hikes: Huge amount of cycle trips. A lot of places of interest are in the neighbourhood. You may reach by car during 20 minutes towns like Prague (Černý Most), Nymburk, Poděbrady, Lysá nad Labem, Ćeský Brod, Sadská, Kolín. Worth visiting Lysá nad Labem castle with gardens, Poděbrady spa with manor house and colonnade, church saint Gothard and walls in Český Brod, many old chapels in the surroundings, open air museum at Přerov nad Labem, castle Benátky nad Jizerou, temporary seat for Tycho de Brahe, with old map exhibition, Czech famous writer Hrabal´s cottage, Just a bit further north and south there are Mělník castle with the junction of Labe and Vltava rivers a Kutná Hora with saint Barbora cathedral.
