Pension Slunečná Louka - Lipno - ACCOMMODATION: The recently erected isolated building with four floors, standing on the edge of wood reminds of ship s shape.It offers accommodation for up to 42 guests in 18 rooms. Thanks to large windows the rooms are bright and all of them are furnished in italian style and fine colours.Almost all of the rooms are heading to the beautiful scenery of the Lipno-dam s surface or to the forest surroundingsand meadows.Large terraces and balconies ( apx. 15 m2) contribute to the attractivity of the rooms.In each room there is a shower, WC satellite colour TV and a phone.Everyday clearing-service is granted.

Pension Slunečná Louka - Lipno - SURROUNDING: The Lipno-dam extends in the Protected Area of Šumava National Park in the elevation of 726 m.The artficial lake is rightly called the Sout-Bohemia Sea.It is the largest water supply of the Czech republic.The surface of the Lipno-dam is 48700 km2, its lenght is 48 km and its maximal width ( at Černá v Pošumaví) is 10 km. The Lipno-dam is quite shallow-its avearage depth is 6,5 m, the deepest point reaches 21,5 m.The volume of the dam is 306 Mil.m3 and it collets water from the drainage area of the 950,56 km2 surface.
